Year 2021 has been a memorable and challenging year for many of us. As we close out the year I am so grateful for many things in my life. Here is my top ten list:

  • Health: With the pandemic going on in full strength, I’m thankful for the vaccines and healthcare workers for keeping us safe. In addition, I continue to work through personal medical conditions and am able to actively participate in all my ventures and visions.
  • Family: Whenever I need some strength or wisdom, I am blessed to be able to call my 91 years old mother who is going strong while her age is catching up with her.
  • Wife and Kids: I can’t appreciate enough of my wife for taking care of me to help me manage my health and well being. My kids are wonderful and tell the truth without any hesitation which helps me be humble and real.
  • Colleagues: It has been a wonderful year with promotion and getting to work on the top two accounts in the world (Yes, world!). I can’t thank my VPs enough for this opportunity.
  • Angel Investments: I have got to meet wonderful founders and companies and invested in about 50 companies over the last 3 years. Learning all the new markets and technologies have kept my mind sharp and up to date with the technology.
  • Mentors: Not just this year but over the last 20 years, I have met many mentors who have helped navigate uncharted areas and new opportunities for me to explore and learn. Thank You!
  • Mentees: I am blessed to have the opportunity to mentor many young up and coming people from all over the world. Honestly I learned a lot more from them than I give them.
  • Old Friends, New (Re)Connections: With Covid and getting older, it was wonderful to connect back with many old friends from the last 50 years of my life. It could be friends from highschool years, college time or early career who helped me define my life.
  • Event/Podcasts: I participated in many mentoring events, podcasts and live events(Virtually) and met hundreds of people. While I share my experience, I was able to reflect and realize how lucky I have been to be on this unique journey through life.
  • The Readers of my articles: Finally the audiences who read my articles, listen to my YouTube videos and send me heartwarming and thought provoking messages. Thank You!!!

As we embark on the journey into the New Years, I thank my team Ahdithan, Harijeyan and my son Mithilan for helping me spread my message through various mediums and social media channels.

Finally, I am looking forward to hearing from my audiences on future topics and getting feedback on what’s been put out thus far.
